July 8th
Dear All Have had quite a number of letters from you all 2 from Doreen latest dated June 6th. Glad to hear the boys have been writing give my kind regards to Jim Palmer, Doreen old thing and the others—so Cyril is the guy eh! Well hope things proceed in the right direction according to plan what! Have had a P.C. from Joan saying how she met you on Bournemouth Station have written her twice. Had 6 letters from Mother latest also the 6th June re pyjamas. Neither [?] they i.e. the other boys have had no difficulty re plain ones. Also have you managed to get coupons extra for buying stuff for my parcels. I think you can get 40. Had letters via Geneva good show as I received them before the others addressed here: Have written Mrs Allen & Mrs Slowey have had letter from Barnards. Afraid letters to you this month will be fewer because of this. Dad, received 5 letters latest dated 9th June. Yes should be good to get together after the war learning a bit about milling here maybe you could give me some gen [?] on Dog Biscuits etc: have received letter from Grandma & Auntie May. Am well Kind Regards to All
