we will become stronger. Looking at the mpa we have a long way to go yet before we touch actual German soil. It is the beginning of the end though -- and it won't be too long before we are all home.
I have received a letter -- on arrival dated the 29 of May.
All your excitement and uncertainly will be over by the time you receive this. I hope to know the result by Thursday -- myself if they announce it over the C.B.C. news broadcast.
I don't know whether I told [you] in my last letter or not but Olive will not be able to come to the wedding. It's too bad but it seems it has to be. Also whether or not I told you that [?] was mariied -- We received a card from him -- from Quebec were [sic] I take it he is campaigning [?]
