Wednesday, March 25th 1914
We leave for Berlin tonight.
On the way to Victoria Station, I paid a last call on the Boreels. Wendela was at Slades’ but Barbara was in. Met mother and Lillie—saw to luggage and returned to grandmother. We had taken tickets via Flushing. Nurse and Jackie are coming also. We left London by the 9:0 p.m. train from Victoria. My cousin Jeni [?] Purcell saw us off. We reached
